Booking Terms & Conditions

 

1. Timings

Greetings! Check-in time is a cheerful window from 15:00 to 21:00. Please note: our front door turns in early at 23:00, so make sure to waltz in before then.

Check-out is a laid-back affair, just make sure to bid us farewell by 10:30 am.

2. Kids are welcome – let us know in advance and we can make arrangements.

 

2. Booking and Cancellation

We like to keep things cozy with a two-night minimum stay in our B&B rooms, five nights in  River View House and three nights in our Wee Apartment.

To secure your spot, we’ll need those magic digits from your credit or debit card and your mobile number, please. We will need 50% of the fee on booking and the rest 14 days before arrival or if your booking is within 14 days full payment when booking.

If you need to switch things up, we’re happy to shuffle your booking to an alternative date—just give us a heads-up 14 days before you plan to grace us with your presence. If we can, we will try and make the change.

Need to cancel? Just give us the heads-up 14 days before the big day and we will refund any payments made minus a cancelation fee of £75. If you cancel within 14 days we reserve the right to take full payment, or if you pull a no-show we will take full payment.

We accept bookings for groups of up to 4 people ( 2 adults and 2 kids, or 3 adults) in the Blue Room and the self-catering apartments. 2 max in the other rooms. Don’t forget your travel insurance; it’s the responsible thing to do!

4. Wet Clothing

Got muddy shoes or soaking wet gear? Which is often the way up here – leave the mess on the porch, and we’ll take care of the rest.

5. Smoking Policy

No smoking or vaping at Spean Lodge – there’s a big garden for that.

6. Pets

We allow a maximum of 2 dogs to stay in our Wee Apartment with a fixed £30 cleaning surcharge per stay. In our other properties sadly your furry friends can’t stay, except for those helpful assistance dogs. Let us know in advance if you’re bringing one along by selecting ‘Dogs to Stay’ check box when on the checkout page for a Wee Apartment booking.

7. WiFi

Stay connected with our free WiFi, but don’t expect lightning-fast speeds in our rural hideaway.

10. Damage to the Property

Oops, did you break something? Don’t worry; we’re a forgiving bunch. Just cover the repair/replacement costs, and we’ll call it even.

11. Car Parking

The car park is all yours, but just a heads-up, it’s at your own risk.

12. Extraordinary circumstances during your stay

Mother Nature is the boss! If she throws a tantrum, like a flood, fire, or earthquake, and it messes up your plans, we can’t control that. Refunds are up to our discretion, so let’s all cross our fingers for smooth sailing.

13. Agreement

By booking, you’re giving us a virtual high-five to these terms and conditions.
